Overview
You’ll create your free UltraViolet Household Account the first time you purchase UltraViolet entertainment media, and up to six registered Household Account users can share it. This Account’s control center allows parents to manage their children’s access to inappropriate content. It also lets adults customize their individual views of their collection, so they only see the media they want, and can get recommendations tailored to their own tastes.

Shared, Controlled Access
Your UltraViolet account can include up to six people you define as your household. You may have kids away at school, or other relatives living with you or elsewhere. As long as they’re registered as your Household Account members, they can access your UltraViolet collection.
Household Harmony
Imagine the calm and convenience that will prevail when your UltraViolet account lets you access all your shows and movies from any of up to 12 registered UltraViolet devices, and also via streaming to other devices. No more fighting over the main TV when Dad wants to watch football at the same time the kids want to watch cartoons! Generally, if it has Internet access and a screen, it can stream content from your UltraViolet collection. If it’s an UltraViolet device, it can download copies to play without remaining network connected.
Personalized Experience
Users of your UltraViolet Household Account can personalize their entertainment media collection. Filters and recommendations help create truly useful views of your content based on each person’s needs. Simple to set up and use parental controls give peace of mind while still allowing kids the freedom to choose from what’s available on their own.

In Transit
Commuters can now have access to their UltraViolet movie and TV show collection while they’re on the road. They can leave their discs at home where they’re safe, and simply use downloaded files on UltraViolet devices, or widely-accessible UltraViolet streaming on their mobile units. Parents can keep kids entertained in transit by playing any show from their UltraViolet collection.
Away At School
Susan is off to college in Vermont, but she won’t have to miss re-run night with her mom in Montana. Their favorite shows are part of their UltraViolet collection, so all Susan has to do is log on to the Household Account and stream at the same time as her mom. Even thousands of miles apart, they can still watch together and keep their family rituals alive.
Road Warriors
A frequent business traveler, Mike’s favorite movies and TV shows travel with him through every state and in many formats. Now, with UltraViolet, his favorite shows are accessible online. He can download them onto his UltraViolet devices or access them via streaming from many locations. He doesn’t have to worry about damaging his valuable discs or forgetting them somewhere. He leaves those at home for the family to enjoy, and now he’s got more room and less weight in his carry-on.
